The observant amongst you will have noticed that my logo has changed, I hope you love it as much as I do. It was designed for me by Gabrielle Izen, whose work I absolutely love. When we talked about my logo, I couldn’t put my finger on what I really wanted but I knew I’d know it when I saw it. It wasn’t until we talked in depth about my company name and my memories of my gorgeous boys being babies, that I realised what it was that really worked for me. The company name, Hushabye was suggested by my husband nearly 5 years ago; he was remembering a book we read to our boys when they were little – John Burningham’s Hushabye. It’s a story I read over and over again to Joseph and Adam when they were babies – the phrase Hushabye, Hushabye, Hushabye, Hush is embedded in my brain – so when Jon suggested it as a name for my newborn photography business, I knew it was perfect. Take a look at the cover of the book, particularly the signature…

Gabrielle’s beautiful logo combines my nostalgia for my boys as babies, the cover of the book I loved to read them and my love of Gabrielle’s handmade, bespoke work. I hope you love it as much as I do.
