So, here we all are, in Lockdown. Who would have thought it this time last month? So, what to do when your business relies on meeting your clients face-to-face and that’s the last thing you can do? I’ve been concentrating my energies on collating and creating ideas, videos, links and lockdown activities to do with your little ones while we’re all stuck at home. I have lots of ideas already, so I think I can keep them coming for some time.
Social Media
I’ve been using my Facebook and Instagram pages to post a daily suggestion, so please come and like them to keep up-to-date or comment and share.
However, I know some of you don’t use social media, so I’m creating a weekly blog post with a round-up of each all the lockdown activities for you to enjoy. My aim is to publish the post mid-week.
Rainbow Windows

There’s been a push on social media for people (especially children) to draw or paint rainbows for their front windows. That way, it’s something fun to look for when you go out for fresh air and an activity to do with your little one. Here’s mine.
Daily Dancing
I’m pretty sure the whole nation knows that Joe Wicks is running PE lessons live on his YouTube channel at 9am each morning.
But did you also know that local business Boogie Tots is running a live dance class for little ones at 11am? Chloe also runs Do4Kidz Danceworks and will be running a 3pm dance class for primary aged children on her Facebook page Do4kidzdanceworks
Phew! I’m exhausted just thinking about all that!
The Shape Game

The shape game. We played this a lot when my boys were little. One person draws and squiggle on paper, it can be as simple or complex as you like. The other person takes that squiggle and uses their imagination to tune it into a person, animal or object. You could colour it in or just leave it plain. It’s all down to you, just have fun!
David Walliams
If you have a book-lover in the house, David Walliams is doing a daily reading on his website every day. Enjoy!
