So, how are we all doing? This week it seems to have become the new normal and we’re settling into a new routine. As promised, here are my lockdown activities for the week
Twinkl
Have you heard of Twinkl? It’s full of resources for home learning. They’re offering a month of free access to help parents and teachers through lockdown.

Dice Games

If your child isn’t a fan of maths, perhaps some dice games will encourage them to count, add up and recognise numbers. I’ve written a blog with lots of ideas for games and some that you can print off too.

Aquarium wildlife cam
I love wildlife and I really miss spending time in the countryside watching it at the moment. When we were in California a couple of years ago, we went to Monterey Bay Aquarium. They do so much for ocean conservation and we loved it there. You can imagine how excited I was when I discovered the Monterey Bay Aquarium Live Cam. At the moment they’re closed so it’s pre-recorded video, but still awesome

Watch Wind in the Willows
The wonderful musical of Wind in the Willows, is great fun and full of catchy songs. We have the radio play recorded by my in-laws from the 70s and we all love it. You can watch the stage musical here for just £4.99:

They also have an activity pack for you to use with it
Pregnant and new mums in West Kent

I’ve been thinking a lot about my lovely clients, who are pregnant or have new babies. I know there are a lot of things that they’re missing out on (including photographs) and I really feel for them.
So back in March 2020 I set up a Facebook page for chat and advice. If you’re in West Kent and are pregnant or a new mum, come and join in the conversations
